Barnyard Tours - Thursday, August 7, 2025

Guided Barnyard Tours will start at 10:00 a.m. and run every 30 minutes until 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Tours are hosted by FFA members and meet in the Children's Barnyard (map).

Please submit the 2025 Tour Request form by Friday, July 25, 2025.

Note: The Children's Barnyard is available for self-tour all seven days of the Dakota County Fair, free of charge and no appointment necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we feed the animals?
No! Never feed the barnyard animals outside food. All animals have a special diet and feeding schedule.

Can we touch or pet the animals?
Yes, there will be opportunities to pet or touch some of the animals.

Photos allowed?
Yes, there will be great photo ops throughout the tour.

How much is parking and admission?

Admission is FREE all week long, thanks to our generous community sponsors
Parking is $10/carload or $20/busload (cash only)

Can I bring a cooler?
No, outside food or beverages are NOT allowed.
