Become a Vendor or Exhibitor

Christmas in the Village: December 2026

CALLING ALL VENDORS! Join us for Christmas in the Village, December 5–6 and 12–13, 2026! We’re seeking local Christmas crafters, merchants, antique dealers, and artisans to be part of this beloved holiday tradition at Dakota City Heritage Village.

NEW FOR 2026: All vendors will be located together in one heated building, creating a cozy, high-traffic holiday shopping experience for vendors and visitors alike.

Vendor Fees

  • Application Fee: FREE
  • Both Weekends: $200 (if accepted)
  • One Weekend: $145 (if accepted)

  • Saturday, December 5: 3–8 PM
  • Sunday, December 6: 3–7 PM
Weekend 2:
  • Saturday, December 12: 3–8 PM
  • Sunday, December 13: 3–7 PM

Returning Vendors
Returning vendors will receive an email in March 2027 with instructions to commit for the 2027 Dakota County Fair, August 9-15, 2027.

New Vendors for the 2027 Fair
  • The PDF application will be added to this website in January 2027. All must be submitted via email to fair@dakotacountyfair.org to be considered.
    • No deadline to submit an application.
      • We will start reviewing new applications in April each year. No new vendors will be considered prior to April.
      • Vendors may be added up until fair week, due to last minute cancellations.
  • Cost
    • No fee to submit an application.
    • Vendor cost vary based on needs. We will provide a cost after we are able to review your application.

Sponsor the Fair

Sponsor an event, band, performer, building, exhibit, or show at the fair! Or choose a general sponsorship. Please see our Sponsorship page or inquire for a custom package.
Investment: $500+

Fair "Special Day" Exhibitors

Senior Day vendors set up inside Ahlberg Hall Museum during the Senior social. 
Exhibitors (info booths) are available on Senior Day, Kid's Day, and Hero Appreciation Day through Special Day sponsorship opportunities.

Spaces are limited and generally do sell out. Please email fair@dakotacountyfair.org to inquire.
