Kids Day - Tuesday, August 10, 2021

Children's Barnyard Tours
Barnyard tours will start at 10:00 AM and go every 30 minutes until 6:30 PM on Tuesday, August 10.
Mail or email forms to the fair office to reserve a time for a tour by Friday, July 30th.

Military Day - Wednesday, August 11, 2021

To Celebrate "Military Day" at the Dakota County Fair and to say "Thank You" to our service men and women (including prior service and retirees) the Support Our Troops Haunted House Organization has purchased 400 rodeo tickets to be given out to Military Personnel and their immediate family for the "Bulls n Barrels Rodeo" scheduled for Wednesday August 11th, starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets will be handed out on a first come first serve basis, and may be picked up at the Information Booth on the Fairgrounds. Starting 2:00 PM, Wednesday. Please bring some form of "Proof of Service" when picking up your tickets. After 5:30 pm tickets may be picked up in the Booth marked Military Tickets located just outside the grandstand. Tickets will be available until the start of the rodeo. If you have any questions, please call Germaine Beyl at 651-895-2450. Thank you for your service and we hope to see you at the Rodeo!

Senior Day - Thursday, August 12, 2021

To celebrate "Senior Day" there will be donuts and coffee/lemonade under our Senior Day tent next to Ahlberg Hall in the morning, after enjoying those snacks we will have some sponsors dedicated to Senior Day. Also enjoy Richie Yurkovich & Polkarioty in the Main Beer Garden while eating your delicious lunch from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.

Public Safety Day - Saturday, August 14, 2021

The MN Brassholes Rockin’ Sheriffs band plays 5:00pm - 6:30pm in the Main Beer Garden. Affectionately branded The Brassholes, the band consists of sheriffs from all corners of the state of Minnesota with a passion for music, entertaining and giving back.

Dakota County Fire Departments and ambulance services will be located (South of the Farm Tractor display) from 10:00A.M. to 3:30P.M.

Visit with a Firefighter, see a new ladder truck, learn how to use a Fire Extinguisher, see the newest Life Saving Innovations in how CPR is administered, and see the power of a live Kitchen Fire and how to avoid this problem at home.
